A Newcastle Emlyn man has denied assaulting a woman earlier this month.
Simon Arthur Phillips, aged 26, of Flat 5, 7 Bridge Street, pleaded not guilty assaulting Rhian Jeremiah by beating in Cardigan on October 2, when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday.
A trial date was listed for December 4, and Phillips was released on bail with the conditions not to enter Cardigan town, or contact Miss Jeremiah.
