Cardigan’s newly refurbished bandstand in Victoria Gardens was officially opened by the town’s mayor on Friday.
Specialist refurbishment work was carried out on the structure by Tim Phillips of Anvil Fabrications, and funding was provided by Balchder Pentrefi and the town council.
Cllr Graham Evans cut the ribbon on Friday afternoon, joined by bugler Daniel Ramsbottom, Cllr Catrin Miles, Tim Phillips and Johanna Shaw of Balchder Pentrefi.
Cllr Miles, who coordinated the project during her term as mayor, said she was delighted with the work, and thanked those who had contributed.
She said: “It’s a wonderful piece of work.”
The gardens were originally laid in 1897 to commemorate Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
