At Cardigan Soroptimists’ Charity Lunch at the Cliff Hotel on 12th October television screenwriter Lucy Gannon MBE captivated her audience when she spoke of her personal development in becoming a (now much sought after) full-time writer. Lucy’s interest in Spinal Injuries Association began when she wrote the script for BBC’S The Best of Men, the story of Sir Ludwig Guttman’s ground-breaking work at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The Soroptimist group wishes to thank everyone whose generous support for their lunch raised just over £900 for the SIA charity.
