Eighteen years ago the first Macmillan Coffee Morning was held at Ysgol Gynradd Aberteifi in memory of Peggy Lewis who had worked in the school kitchen.
Since then the school has raised thousands for the charity. This year the event was opened by the Mayor of Cardigan , Cllr Graham Evans and Cllr John Adams-Lewis, Chairman of the Governing Body. Pupils within the school have played an important role this year and have baked biscuits towards the event . The coffee morning raised £306.
