People with an interest in health are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Hywel Dda University Health Board at 1pm on Tuesday September 30.
The meeting will review both achievements and challenges of the last year and set the direction for the year to come. A new document – What we are doing for you – will also be launched at the meeting.
The document is a review of two of the organisation’s more formal reports – the Annual Report, including summary accounts; and the Annual Quality Statement.
Health Board Chairman Bernardine Rees said: “On behalf of the Board, I extend a warm welcome to staff, patients or members of our community who may want to attend our AGM. Board members and staff alike want what the public want – a service to be proud of and one which we are happy for our own families to use. What drives all of our work is providing safe, person centred, and high-quality care.
“The AGM and Annual Report provide us with an opportunity to tell people our story and set our goals, aspirations and priorities for the year to come. Every member of our community can play a role in designing health care services. I would urge those with an interest to attend this meeting, or alternatively join our Siarad Iechyd / Talking Health membership scheme.”
The meeting will be held in the Board Room, Ystywth Building, St David’s Park. A regular Board Meeting will follow at 2pm.
