The village of Llechryd has lost one of its two public houses after the Carpenter’s Arms ceased trading last week leaving the Seven Stars as the one remaining watering hole.
Former mine hosts John and Cian Potts, who are continuing to live in the village, were instrumental in raising significant funds for local worthy causes with various events at the pub.
The Fedwen bakery shop in Cardigan’s High Street has also closed but the Fedwen shop at Emlyn Square in Newcastle Emlyn remains open.
