Newcastle Emlyn play ground is set to benefit from a revamp, thanks to the generosity of a local organisation.
Town councillors received a letter complaining that the area was ‘unkempt’ at last week’s meeting, and heard that improvement work was due to start following a £4,000 donation from Emlyn Circle.
Mayor Gareth Williams said a donation from a local business would enable a new fence to be erected, and councillors appealed for more volunteers to help support the facility.
