Cardigan town councillors are to ask for more signs on the new clearway at Bath-house.
This follows several complaints from residents and tourists who have been fined £35 for parking on the stretch of road.
One tourist, Mr R A Gatehouse, from Northamptonshire, wrote to the council to complain after he was fined for stopping on the road to visit the nearby tourist information centre.
"I think Cardigan is the only place to have a clearway that starts and ends in nowhere," he added.
Councillors agreed to ask the county council for more repeater signs.
"There have been a lot of complaints about this," he said.
