Scarecrows took over a north Pembrokeshire village over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

There was fun for all the family in Moylegrove last week with activities, stalls and a barbecue with music from duo Memphis Belle, while more than 50 scarecrows of all descriptions appeared in and around the village.

The scarecrows, made by local residents and Ysgol Llandudoch pupils, created a trail starting at the Old School Hall.

A spokesman for the event, organised by Moylegrove Craft Club, said support had been ‘fantastic’.

She added: “It was a very buoyant affair, the whole village joined in.

“So many people worked very hard and went to so much effort, and Ysgol Llandudoch staff were also very supportive.”
