Two local young men were rescued by Moylegrove coastguards and Fishguard RNLI lifeboats plus Newport lifeguards after they got into difficulty off Newport sands on Friday evening.
Later that evening coastguards helped in the search for a missing 12 year old boy on Newport Beach. The child was located by the Coastguard team and reunited with his family.
