A New Quay man is to face a charge of perverting the course of justice at Crown Court this month.
Trevor West, aged 53, of 44 Woodlands Chalets, is accused of providing false details, which had a tendency to pervert the course of justice, at Capel Seion, between April 2013 and June 2014.
No pleas were entered when West appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday, and the court heard that the case can only be tried at crown court.
The next hearing is due to take place at Swansea Crown Court on August 29, and West has been released on unconditional bail until that date.
