Ceredigion MP, Mark Williams has praised this year’s Cardigan River and Food Festival as an increasingly iconic event and excellent showcase of the local food sector.
Mark Williams said:
“I congratulate the organisers of this impressive event. All our food festivals across Ceredigion have their own unique character and Cardigan is no exception. An excellent location, kind weather and a huge range of food, drink and crafts made it again a memorable day.
“Whether people wanted to eat or drink on site, watch demonstrations, or do their shopping, everyone was catered for. As ever I was pleased to see so many local businesses represented and selling their products. Some 95 per cent of the stands were Welsh which augurs well for the Welsh food sector.
“I remain convinced that the local food sector, the craft and art sector are huge marketing points for Ceredigion.”
