Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn has praised pupils on their successful A-level results. Senior pupils
Sam Pullman-Slater and Sophie Thomas both achieved 2 A’s and an A* grade. Sam will
be studying English in Cambridge while Sophie will go to Cardiff to study Biology. Other
high achievers include Silas Blackburn (A*, A, B), Rhydian Evetts (A, B, B), Roanna Holmes-
Frodsham (A*, A, C) and Lochlainn Marynicz (A, B, B). At AS Level Hecate Bradbury, Jack
Davies, Courteny Ellis, Andrew Lemmon, Hattie Morrison, Mark Ramsey, Megan Thomas,
Callam Preece and Callum Voller all achieved high grades.
Head Hugh Thomas said: "The school is very proud of all the students, the vast majority of whom achieved their
targets. This success is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our pupils and staff
along with the support of parents, governors and the community. We wish all our
students every success in the future."
