Ceredigion’s MP Mark Williams, opened the HUTS Open Day in Adpar, praising the charity for their inspirational work in mental health, and in particular commending their aspirations to launch a befriending service and an outreach service.
Commenting at the open day, Mark Williams said;
‘It was great to open the excellent HUTS Open Day in Adpar, where really brilliant work is undertaken to support those who suffer with mental health issues. This is particularly worthy praise given the challenges of delivering mental health services in a rural area.
‘While the HUTS state of the art workshops at the headquarters in Adpar are to be enthusiastically commended, what is really impressive about the organisation is the quality of the care provided, and fantastic relationships between HUTS staff, volunteers and their members which is very apparent each time I visit the charity.’
