Residents have repeated their concerns about flooding in the play area at Maesglas, Cardigan, following heavy rain last weekend.
Pictures taken by long-time local resident Sue Scourfield show areas of the site inches deep in water.
Sue is a member of North Cardigan Action and Support Group which is fighting plans by housing association Tai Ceredigion to build nine homes at the site.
"I played here as a child in the 1960s and the site was always boggy," she said.
"If houses are built on the play area they will flood. There has always been a water course through the site."
A decision on an appeal by Tai Ceredigion against Ceredigion planners' non determination of the scheme is due by the end of next month.
