Ceredigion's Cabinet have welcomed a Welsh Assembly initiative which will see a £1,000 rates rebate for local businesses.
Cllr Dafydd Edwards told this week's Cabinet meeting: "It's a good thing for businesses in this county."
But Cllr Ray Quant said he would like to see the scheme widened to include bed and breakfast businesses.
"These are usually small family-run businesses and they are important to tourisim in Ceredigion," he said.
