A Newport man has made his first appearance before a crown court judge accused of assaulting four females.
Michel Lorenzo Castiglia, aged 28, was further granted bail by Judge Paul Thomas until a hearing on September 5 when he will be asked to enter pleas.
Castiglia, of Maes Morfa, is accused of assaulting his partner Emily James twice during an incident at Fishguard on March 3.
He is also charged with assaulting Jade Macdonald, Emma Griffiths and Maralyn Weale.
Kevin Jones, prosecuting, told Swansea crown court the case was one of domestic violence and Judge Thomas detailed an accelerated timetable for the prosecution to complete the preparation of their case.
