Daredevil teenager Grug Harries wanted to a challenge to raise money for her favourite charity - so she abseiled down one of the tallest buildings in Wales!

Grug, 13, a pupil at Ysgol y Preseli, has raised over £700 for Parkinson's UK - a charity close to her heart as she has two close family members who suffer from the disease.

She signed up to take part in a charity abseil down the entire 140ft length of the St David's Hotel in Cardiff.

Mum Sharon said: "She loved every minute of it and wants to do it again!"

Grug, from Boncath, has two older brothers, Hedd and Steffan.

"There's no way they would have done something like that!" said Sharon.
