Army cadets support forces

G (Welsh Guards) Company Army Cadets from Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn detachments were showing their support for Armed Forces past and present at this years Armed Forces Day ceremony .

The event was held at St Marys Church, Cardigan, on June 28. The Welsh Guards Cadets were the Guard of Honour for the Mayor and Mayoress and dignitaries of Cardigan.

Cardigan`s Detachment Commander Staff Sergeant Alun Richards said:" It was an honour and a privilege to be asked to take part in this years ceremony and to have the role of the Guard of Honour and I was very proud of the Army Cadets who carried out this important role on such an important day for our Armed Forces."
