The row over public toilet provision in Cardigan is continuing.
Budget cuts mean that Ceredigion County Council has to close two public loos in the town. The facilities in Feidrfair are now closed with Chancery Lane also set for closure.
Shoppers and visitors will be able to use nearby loos in the council offices in Morgan Street and the Guildhall.
But town councillors are fuming that even after two of the town's loos have been closed, the county council still wants them to pay £4k to keep the Victorian Garden toilets open.
Originally, the county council wanted to close Victorian Gardens - but town councillors insisted it was well used and wanted it kept open.
Now they will be discussing the situation at a special meeting later this month where they will want answers from the county council.
"The sums are wrong," said mayor Cllr Graham Evans.
And Cllr Richard Jones said: "We shouldn't have a bill at all."
