Local fund raisers gathered together in the town's swimming pool hall recently to present a high tech automated defibrillator to the manager Lloyd Davies. Cllr Mark Cole and several other donors and organisations contributed to the purchase of this much needed machine with Mark parachuting out of an aircraft and raising £5000 for the 'BHF No time to wait appeal' .

All the combined money donated will be used to purchase more machines within our community through the British Heart Foundation, to assist early resuscitation procedures, carried out by trained responders in cases of sudden cardiac arrest, following on going cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Seen here in the picture are Lloyd Davies (Manager), Philipa Noble (Ladies Circle), Margaret Smith (Soroptomists), Pete Barker (BHF Chairman, Cardigan Branch), Jim Gill (Deputy manager),County Councillor Mark Cole , Sharon Griffiths (Ladies Circle) and Alun Evans (BHF Treasurer, Cardigan Branch)

The British Heart Foundation wishes to thank everyone who has raised money towards this very worthy project and would welcome any further donations or fund raising contributions to help our cause, thank you.
