Residents in Aberporth are being warned that there will be night time tests at MoD Aberporth on June 25 and 26.
The activity will include some short periods when noise due to helicopter movement may be perceptible off-site in
the local community near Aberporth.
"We apologise for any disturbance which may be experienced. However please
be assured that there is no cause for concern and no need to take any action," said a spokesman
There will also be an area within the Cardigan Bay Danger Area which will need to be clear of
shipping for short periods of time during the above periods. If you are intending to take a trip into the bay, please
contact Range Control on 01239 813480 or 01239 813760 for further advice and information or contact on VHF
channel 11 or 16.
All activities are conducted in a strictly controlled environment, present no danger to the public and the coastguard
will be informed.
Please note that the weather can play a crucial part in some of the activities conducted on the Range and although
these dates are correct at the time of publication, they may be subject to change at short notice.
