Coleg Ceredigion will be running a free Construction Day at its Cardigan Campus on 21 June.
The event, that runs from 10am until 3pm, will provide an opportunity for individuals to try out techniques in carpentry, bricklaying and surveying. You will also get a chance to operate a Mini Digger under supervision!
Along with tutors from the construction department, there will be members from the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) on hand to provide advice about apprenticeship opportunities for employers. There will also be advice for employers regarding grants and the benefits for providing apprenticeships in the construction industry.
