A large quantity of logs was stolen from a secluded address in the Llangrannog area between June 6 and 8.
Police are appealing for any information relating to fuel or wood thefts in the area, and are reminding the public to take steps secure their stores, as fuel costs increase.
Anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the Llangrannog area around this time, or who has been approached by anybody selling logs, is asked to contact PC 472 Garnie at Cardigan Police Station by calling 101.
