Speeding is to be the priority for police in Cardigan over the summer.
The move follows concern expressed by local residents at this month's Police and Communities Together meeting.
Officers from the Neighbourhood policing team, together with their colleagues from the Roads Policing unit will work to address these concerns and provide an update at the next PACT meeting, which is due to be held on 3rd September at 2pm at Cardigan police station. All are welcome to attend Pact meetings to raise any issues or concerns. Members of the neighbourhood policing team are available at Tesco’s café between 2-3pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month to discuss any concerns.
PCSO Steffan Jones also gave an update to those present in relation to the work that had been undertaken in relation to previously agreed priorities, including a number of alcohol seizures that had been made in order to assist in preventing anti-social behaviour.
