A Cilgerran teenager plans to lop off her long locks for the charity Latch this month.
Ysgol y Preseli pupil Kelsey Thomas hopes to raise funds for the Welsh Children's Cancer charity and plans to donate her hair to make wigs for people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.
Her haircut will take place at SalonK27, Cardigan on June 21.
Latch is a voluntary organisation set up to support the special requirements of the children's oncology centre at the Children's Hospital for Wales, to help affected families and promote research in childhood cancer.
Kelsey said: “Latch is an amazing charity that helps so many families every year. Latch have also helped children I know. Latch need help to support families so please donate and support my event.
“My goal is to raise £500 but I'd love to raise so much more so please donate for this amazing charity.”
