A fascinating book that looks at the Cardigan area through the lens of town photographer Harry Squibbs has just been published.

South West Wales, Through the Lens of Harry Squibbs has been written by Harry's grandaughter Pam Fudge.

Harry worked in the town during the first half of the last century and the book provides a record of community life accompanied by historical and anecdotal information.

His pictures were used by the Tivy-Side and countless families had their potraits taken at his town centre studios.

This book is essential reading for anyone with a passion for local history and for those with an interest in photographic and psotcard production at that time.

The book is published by Amberley Publishing and is vailable at local bookshops price £14.99.
