A Cilgwyn based brewery recently beat off stiff competition to scoop a business award.
The West Wales Business Awards took place in May at Parc Y Scarlets, celebrating the success of local businesses in West Wales. Approximately 180 businesses were put forward to contend for the seven categories.
Bluestone Brewing Company, a vibrant new microbrewery, near Newport, was awarded the title in the 'Food produce or Food Retail Outlet' category.
The father-daughter team of Simon and Amy Turner were delighted to receive the award in recognition of the success Bluestone Brewing has had to date.
The ten barrel brewery now has nearly a hundred outlets, ranging from deli's to pubs, cafés to shops in Pembrokeshire and bordering counties, and also stretching as far as London, Manchester and Devon.
The converted farm buildings house for the brewery, and the team hopes to open the doors to an off-licence as well as offering visitors an insight into the brewing industry in the near future.
