THE Older People’s Commissioner for Wales visited Maes Mwldan, Cardigan, where she met with 25 residents to talk about the issues that matter most to them.

The Commissioner, Sarah Rochira, attended a meeting of the assisted living complex’s tenants’ association as part of her Engagement Roadshow.

Older people talked with the Commissioner about issues they have encountered following the reconfiguration of health services in the area and other problems such as repairs to their properties and receiving meals.

Sarah said: “It is important that older people are allowed to have their say on the issues that matter to them .The tenants’ association at Maes Mwldan means there is a platform to ensure older people have their voices heard.”
