Local groups will discuss barriers to community energy schemes with a Welsh Government senior manager on May 17.
Community groups in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire have worked for many years to set up community energy schemes, and say their efforts have been frustrated by regulations and connection charges.
The meeting with the manager for distributed energy takes place at the Buzzing About Pembrokeshire Fair in Hermon Centre on May 17, 2pm, all welcome.
Vicky Moller, who helped organise the meeting, said: “It won’t solve the problems in one go, but let's hope we find some paths forward to what has to happen if we are to keep our homes and lives warm and powered.”
