Author and storyteller Peter Stevenson launched his book of Ceredigion Folk Tales at Awen Teifi in Cardigan at the weekend.
Accompanied by musicians Ceri Owen Jones and Elsa Davies playing traditional Ceredigion music, he read excerpts from the book which are based on the traditional tales of Myra Evans of New Quay.
Mrs Evans, who died in 1972, left behind a wealth of traditional tales.
"She's ours and we should celebrate her," said Mr Stevenson.
