Two men have been seriously injured following a crash involving a motorcycle and a tow truck in Gwbert Road, Cardigan.
Emergency services were called to the scene after the accident just after lunch time today.
Mid and West Wales Fire Service say firefighters freed the two people travelling on the motorbike who were trapped beneath the tow truck.
One man has been airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the road would remain closed until emergency services had dealt with the incident.
