On Palm Sunday, members of the Crymych Group of Churches were led by a donkey named Snowball from the centre of Llanfyrnach village to its Church, to commemorate Jesus’ ride into Jerusalem on a donkey. Welsh bagpipes, a mandolin and a ukulele accompanied the hymn singing, as did Snowball for a short while! The children delivered palm crosses to onlookers and through village letter boxes, and the Eucharist was celebrated on arrival at St. Brynach’s Church by the Vicar, Revd. Jonathan Copus.
