A new initiative to boost tourism in the Teifi Valley was unveiled this week with the launch of the iTeifi Visitor Centre in Newcastle Emlyn.
Based in the courtyard of Gwesty'r Emlyn, the centre enables visitors to browse the new iTeifi website which details tourism attractions, accommodation and places to eat in a wide area stretching from Tregaron and Lampeter down river to Cardigan.
The development of the Visitor Centre is a community initiative led by Gwesty'r Emlyn, supported by local tourism businesses and Carmarthenshire Tourist Association as part of the activities of the Rural Tourism Clusters Project.
Former BBC newsreader Sara Edwards officially launched the website at a special event at Gwesty'r Emlyn.
She said: "The river Teifi is an artery flowing through the area, a jewel in our crown. It's great that from now on there will be a facility to show what's going on in the area."
