A man accused of attempting to steal four bottles of whiskey from Cardigan’s Tesco store is due to stand trial next month.
Ryan James Robinson is accused of stealing £28 worth of goods from the store, and attempting to steal four bottles of Jack Daniels, valued at £159.96, on December 9.
The 40 year-old, of 73 Cwm Level Road, Brynhyfyd, Swansea, pleaded not guilty to both charges when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday.
The trial will take place at Aberystwyth Justice Centre on May 29, and Robinson was released on unconditional bail until that date.
