Local bakers and food bloggers, Vicky North and Sally Sellwood are launching the Cardigan branch of the Clandestine Cake Club. The club is a national organisation which brings people together to share their love of baking and passion for good cake. Each month, club members will bake a cake, inspired by a set theme which they will bring along to the club meeting to share with other members. The club will meet on the first Monday evening of every month and the first meet will be Monday 7th April, 7.30-9.30pm.

Organiser, Sally Sellwood says ‘As this is the first meeting of the group we’d like to encourage everyone coming along to bring a cake that says something about themselves, so we can all get to know each other a little better. For that reason, we have chosen the theme ‘My cake, my story’. We hope it will be a good icebreaker and a memorable way to launch the club.’

The location will vary every month and will always be in the locality. Details of the venue will be released to those who book just a few days before the event, hence the name Clandestine Cake Club. In this way, club members get to explore some of the fantastic venues in the area and can enjoy the element of surprise each month.

Vicky and Sally are looking for new members so if you would like to get involved, please contact the club via the website www.clandestinecakeclub.co.uk or email the organisers direct cardiganccc.gmail for further information.
