The number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance in Ceredigion has fallen by 153 people in the last year according to new figures published this week by the ONS (Office for National Statistics).
Commenting on these figures, Ceredigion’s Welsh Liberal Democrat MP Mark Williams said:
‘These positive moves would not be happening without the influence of the Liberal Democrats in Government. The Liberal Democrats have helped business create more than a million private sector jobs, and now we are working to help create a million more. These statistics show that this strategy is working.
‘It is vitally important that both the UK Government and the Welsh Government work together to keep the economy moving in the right direction.’
