A 28-year-old man has denied an offence of common assault on a woman at Horeb near Llandysul and possessing a dangerous weapon in a public place, the offences allegedly committed earlier this month.
Aaron Daniel O’Gorman, of Vale View Heddryn, Horeb, was alleged to have assaulted Natasha Littleton by beating on Saturday, February 1 and possessing a lock knife.
O’Gorman, who was represented by Alan Lewis, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of 0.21grammes of herbal cannabis on the same date.
The assault and dangerous weapon charges were adjourned for trial on April 15 and the defendant will be sentenced for the cannabis offence after the trial. He was given unconditional bail.
