Pembrokeshire County Council is consulting residents over proposed changes to non-residential social care charges.

The Authority has written to all those affected by the proposed changes asking them to make their views known by completing a questionnaire.

Consultation events will also be held for users and their carers, across Pembrokeshire, including Goodwick.

“The views of those affected are important to us and it is vital we take those views into account when making a final decision” explained Councillor Simon Hancock, Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Health and Well Being and Equalities.

“At the end of the consultation period, the information provided will be considered by the Council’s Older Persons, Health and Well Being Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Cabinet.”

The event will be held on Monday February 24, 11am to 1pm at the Phoenix Centre, Goodwick

There will also be an event for adults with learning disabilities on March 6. For more information call 01437 769135.

The deadline for consultation is 12pm March 14.

The questionnaire is also available at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
