G (Welsh Guards) Company recently helped raise £2,500 for the Wales Air Ambulance by pushing a wooden replica of the Wales Air Ambulance 22 miles from Aberaeron to Cardigan.
The Cardigan and Aberaeron detachments who took part were invited to see the Wales Air Ambulances base of operations in Swansea, as a thank you for their efforts.
A spokesman for the detachments said: “The cadets had a fantastic time being shown around the helicopter and also included meeting the paramedics and pilots who do such an important and fantastic job in saving so many lives.”
