A group promoting food and farming in Pembrokeshire is staging a special careers event next month.

The Pembrokeshire Food and Farming Group has organised a Food and Farming careers evening on Tuesday March 11, 4pm to 7pm in the Bridge Innovation Centre, Pembroke Dock.

Targeted at school pupils making careers choices as well as those seeking a new career or a career change, the event will showcase the opportunities for high skilled roles in the sector.

Among those promoting opportunities in food technology, agronomy, sales and marketing will be local employers, Puffin Produce and Capestone.

Keynote speakers from across the sector will give an insight into their work and how they started out, while those considering entering the industry will also have a chance to take part in have-a-go sessions.

Food and farming firms looking to grow and recruit are welcome to get involved to promote their businesses.
