Army Cadets at Cardigan detachment recently passed their Activity First Aid and Basic Radio User courses.
Local cadets have been busy training for their Activity First Aid badges and their Basic Radio User certificates at G(Welsh Guards) Company training weekend, held at Lampeter Cadet Training Centre over a weekend at the end of January.
Successful cadets who completed the Activity First Aid course had their badges presented to them by Lt General Jonathon Riley (RTD) former Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers in Bosnia, General Officer Commanding British Armed Forces in Iraq in 2004 and Deputy Commander of ISAF in Afghanistan in 2007.
The Basic Radio User course certificates were presented to the Army Cadets by television presenter Sara Edwards and Lt General Riley.
