A Cardigan woman, accused of stealing a bottle of vodka, was too ill to face magistrates, a court has heard.
Rebecca David, aged 23, of 16b, Golwg y Castell, was due to appear before Aberystwyth magistrates last week.
It is alleged that David stole a bottle of Imperial Vodka, worth £11.15, from the Coop store , Cardigan on January 10.
The case was adjourned for seven days after the bench heard the defendant had contacted her solicitor Alan Lewis stating she was too ill to attend court on Wednesday, and was going to see her doctor.
David’s unconditional bail was renewed until her next court appearance on February 5.
