Dyfed Powys Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which caused severe delays for road users in the Lampeter area yesterday (Wednesday 22nd January).
“We were called to a report of a road traffic collision at just before 10am this morning,” said Roads Policing Sergeant Shane Davies. “It happened on the A482 between Lampeter and Aberaeron.
“A car had left the road and was in a stream, about 400 yards from the road. The road was closed and air ambulance attended. A female casualty was conveyed by air ambulance to Morriston hospital with serious injuries. A goods vehicle was also involved and had to be recovered.
“The road remained closed for several hours, and did cause disruption for drivers in the Lampeter area. We have identified several witnesses who are helping us with our investigation. If anyone has information they think could help us, please contact us on 101.”
