Emergency services were called to search for a missing person in the Cardigan bridge area on Friday night.
Following a call from Dyfed-Powys Police requesting assistance, Cardigan and Gwbert coastguard rescue teams, Preseli Sector Manager and both Cardigan RNLI inshore lifeboats were tasked to assist in the search at 10.18pm.
The casualty was located by police as the rescue units made their way to the location.
