All parents who live in Pembrokeshire whose child is due to move to secondary school in September must send a written application by the end of January to the County Council.
The application form needs to be completed even if the request is for a school outside Pembrokeshire or an SEN Unit.
The County Council is urging parents to make every effort to meet this deadline.
Children whose parents make a written application for a school place by the deadline will be allocated places ahead of those who do not, regardless of their home address.
It is not sufficient to inform the headteacher of the child's primary school verbally because it is the County Council, and not individual secondary schools, which is responsible for admissions.
For enquiries contact Pembrokeshire County Council’s Admissions Officer on 01437 775030 or email admissions@pembrokeshire.gov.uk.
