Tai Ceredigion’s Direct Labour Organisation Foreman Brian Jones has won the top 'Housing Hero' award in the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru awards.

The ceremony, held at The Vale Resort recently, saw housing associations from across Wales competing for the top spot in CIH's prestigious awards.

Brian, who has worked for Tai Ceredigion since it was established four years ago, leads a team of 60 staff and is in charge of all the building works for more than 2,200 properties throughout the county.

Steve Jones, Chief Executive of Tai Ceredigion added: “His dedication to his role and the community is outstanding and should be applauded. His family even had to put Christmas dinner put on hold on one occasion so that he could attend an issue for one of our tenants! He truly is a committed individual.”
