Dyfed-Powys Police is continuing to work closely with partner agencies monitoring the severe weather expected this evening and overnight (Friday).
The move follows the tidal surge and high winds experienced across the force area this morning, which affected a number of coastal locations in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
Chief Superintendent Claire Parmenter said: “Members of the community are urged to stay away from coastal areas and to avoid putting themselves in positions of risk. Where road closures are in place due to flooding please adhere to signage and do not travel on these affected roads.”
