A number of local accommodation providers have been recognised as the best in the country in the Visit Wales Gold Awards 2014.
Several local guest houses and bed and breakfast were among winners of this prestigious award, which rewards the highest standards of quality, exceptional comfort and hospitality in the serviced sector in Wales.
The awards also recognise businesses which have been successful in a mystery shopper exercise to test their customer interaction skills.
Among the winners in the guest accommodation category were Ael y Bryn, Eglwyswrw; Maesycrugiau, Pencader; Penbontpren Boutique B&B, Llandysul; Plas Newydd, Cardigan; Y Garth, Newport; 3 Pen Cei, Aberaeron; Ffynnon Feddyg, New Quay; and Gwesty’r Harbourmaster Hotel, Aberaeron.
