PRESELI Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies recently met with Sulwyn Thomas, Chairman of Talking Books Wales at Siop Sian, Crymych.

Talking Books Wales has been running since 1979 and provides audio books to the blind, partially sighted and those having difficulties reading print.

According to Disability Wales, only 7% of all printed material is available in accessible formats such as large print, audio, and braille; and only 3% in the Welsh language.

Mr Davies said: "I was delighted to meet with Sulwyn Thomas and the team to hear more about Talking Books Wales. They provide an invaluable service to the visually impaired and I would encourage the people of Pembrokeshire, should they have a loved one with eyesight problems to visit their website and find out more about their products.

“Audiobooks are an important educational tool for people of all ages with eyesight difficulties, helping to culturally enrich their lives.”
